Re- call on my Buick

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bring it with a re- call letter and no respect with coustermer service! I brought 4 cars from this Dealership in Las Vegas, NV. Every time I get my vehicle some thing is wrong and I bring it for service it always issues when I get it back. I am missing work cause the can't work on my vehicle with out doing something to it and can't do the re- call repairs. And refuse to notify me or keep in touch. They give me my vehicle the same way I bought it in for service not done , I keep going to the say issues. I going to file Butter Business Bureau... Report i hope to get information way my car.

Massive Oil Consumption

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Bout a 2012 Verano 6mos ago and it blew up 2mos later. Did research and found that the 2010-**** models have a defect and massively consume oil.

I was putting 3qts in it every other day. Now instead of recalling these, they still sell them. I reached out to them about a recall and all they said was that the recall is for airbags. So basically they'll fix an airbag that was a factory defect, but not an engine so we as the customer's are just out of luck.

I had a mechanic at a GM dealership tell me they are junk motors.

I have reached out to the BBB, as well as local media to try and get this issue fixed. Won't ever buy a Buick again!

Defective engine

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They have not attempted to solve any issues in turn pushing me further away from their business. If they would right their wrongs I might stay with them. At time being I am ready to sell the car as is, and go elsewhere. I have already had to come out of pocket and buy a vehicle much older because of the defective vehicle they produced and the overpriced replacement engines cost, and that it will do the same thing in a couple of years per Certified GM mechanic.

I really like that new Envista but you are severely handicapping it by putting that anemic 1.2 engine in it. At least put the 1.3, or better yet the 1.5 or 1.6 turbo engine in it. It is automatically disqualified as a car I would consider with that little toy engine in it. Motorcycles have bigger engines than that! The same goes for the Chevy Trax, Trailblazer, and Equinox

I worked for a Buick Dealership as a mechanic from 1976 to 1994 and another dealership that GM closed and also a Chevrolet dealership.Buick had great styling and so many great models. I was so proud to work for this carline the cars drove and handled great. Its just so disappointing to see what General Motors did to this carline , only 3or4 models now. All GM models look the same no creativity this goes for all car manufacturers . So sad

Poor customer service

Buick - Poor customer service

Purchased a Buick Envista from Steve's Hometown in Fruitland, Idaho. Had chip in fenderwell and scratches on hood.

There was also a charge for "theft" that wasn't explained to me. The salesman said it would pay for deductible if car is stolen however, General Manager said it is a device used if the car is stolen. Either way, It wasn't explained to me and I requested it be refunded. The GM said "you signed for it" so unwilling to refund.

FYI, the finance guy even forgot to take my down payment and the dealership called the next day asking for the downpaymant. I was told they would look into refunding my $389.09 and the trim would be repaired ASAP.

4 months later, nothing and told by GM he would return call next day, 5 days later and no call returned... Don't buy a GM vehicle, at least not from Steve's Hometown.

Resolved: Outdated tires on new vehicle

Updated by user Jan 06, 2024

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.

Original review Dec 22, 2023
Purchased a 2020 Buick Enclave Avenir at Coulter Buick/Cadillac in Chandler Arizona. Moved to new location and Enclave has been serviced regularly at Garrett Motors. Today, I was informed by service rep. That my 2018 tires show signs of cracking and dry rot. This vehicle is garage kept and has 10,800 miles on odometer. My question is it customary to place outdated tires on a brand new vehicle?

Air bag issue

Original review Jan 08, 2024

We purchased a 2014 Buick Enclave for our granddaughter in January, 2022. We found out there is a potential driver's side airbag issue.

Buick has a recall on this and other vehicles because the airbag could explode with contact and throw metal shards. They've known about this since before 10/21 and they tell me they don't have a fix for it yet. It's been over 25 months and no fix. I am livid.

Would the people in charge at Buick be so cavalier if their granddaughter owned one of these vehicles?

My understanding is the recall was for over one million vehicles. Does it take some horrible accident to get them to react?

Questions about warranry

The manager finally stepped in and made it right, They first tried to charge me $871.00 for something that was covered by the warranty, and they wanted to do things to my car that wasnt necessary. I was very upset and asked several times for the corporate office number and they always refused. I had a horrible experience.

I would like to make a formal complaint about service manager who used the F word at me. What kind of people do you hire??? I was simply trying to ask about a leaky light and broken back wiper. My next call will be to the better business bureau because I have not gotten so much as an apology

I hate my Buick my and I’ve only made 1 payment

I am unsure where to begin my problems with your Buick dealer in Belleville Illinois. I went there looking for a very reliable vehicle.

I have to admit that I have wanted a Buick for as long as I can remember, but one thing or the other occurred and I was unable to get the car I wanted.

I ventured to Illinois to find the car of my dreams. I chose this particular dealership because of their advertising. $49 down and the price on the windshield, which never once was mentioned during my search for a vehicle. In retrospect I wouldve done differently, but my car was broke down and I needed a reliable vehicle.

I stressed this over and over as I was shown, one car. I suppose I believed this was a car that would function well for me, however I was quickly reminded that I was a women, alone, buying a vehicle. My frustration is unmeasurable and if I could take the car back today, I would. I started noticing that one tire was daily losing air.

I am a single parent so I do not have a lot of free time, I work 3 jobs, to go 40 minutes to Illinois for a tire. I finally looked at the tire and saw a nail, which I then took to a local tire shop for repair. Upon their assessment they found that the rim of the tire was actually bent and a new tire would not make a difference, they both would have to be replaced. I called the Illinois dealership and immediately the blame was placed on me.

They spoke that it had been 3 months since purchase, but in fact it had not yet been 2 months. The manager surpassed disrespect and failed to call me back as he assured me he would. When he spoke to me he used verbiage as I check every vehicle and it had to be something you did. There is no way in *** that he checks every vehicle.

This car was driven by many people who were seeking ownership. I can say this because someone had just come back from test driving it. I would even go as far to say that an employee had taken the vehicle . The fact that he spoke to me is such an pompous tone left me sickened.

To think that because I showed up as a female was a reason to speak to me as if I was a teenager being reprimanded for staying out past midnight. Such profound disrespect has left me wanted to get rid of this vehicle. If this car is so fragile, or that your company condones its managers to speak this way to females, I want no part of it. I am a very well educated female.

I have served my county, but I have never felt so disrespected in my life. My personal integrity would not allow me to lie about causing the rim to unusable. His sickening attitude continues to linger in my mind and I could not let another day pass without saying something.

I wish I could afford a billboard and encourage all women to keep driving if they are searching for a car.

I hope someone in this office takes me seriously. I have little faith in humanity, especially when its something like this.
